Managing your Study Time
There are so many things that have and indeed can be said about time, but one thing that literally brings me back to earth is one statement made by a person I can only term as wise. The chap once said that in as much as so many things happen to different people at different times and periods of their lives, time and chance happen to them all. In essence, what he was trying to put across was that each and every human being on planet earth has twenty four hours from which to operate from, and in so doing everyone has an equal chance of being what he or she ever desires to be in this life.
In academic circles, this makes all the more sense because students are taught by the same teachers at the same time and are faced with the same circumstances like weather, the library, and facilities among other amenities. This essentially means that none of the students can give an excuse as having had less of teachers than those who perhaps perform better than them for one reason or the other. The only thing that sets bright students apart from those that I would like you to allow me call mediocre students (these are students whose performances are average or below average) is how they manage their study time.
Those who excel in class don’t excel necessarily because they have more cognitive and intuitive minds but rather because they make use of their time well. They are the kind of students who have made study time tables and they make good use of them. That is exactly how students should be, failure to which they could find themselves performing poorly and not achieving their targets in school.
